and the Sedge Islands kayak tour.

This exciting
two day kayak adventure is designed to introduce people to the exciting sport of Coastal
Sea Kayak Touring and to the unique beauty of the Barnegat Inlet area including the Sedge
Islands on the south end of Island Beach State Park. Day one, Sat., Oct. 9th: We will meet
at the LBIF Foundation in Love Ladies, Long Beach Island at 9:30 am. After
orientation and signing of wavier, we will proceed to our launch area at the Barnegat
Light Bay Beach at 25th street Barnegat Light. This will be a 3 hour paddle day with
fitting out, instruction and kayak tour of the Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge Islands
around High Bar Harbor. The paddling distance will be relatively short 3-4 miles in
prelude to longer paddle on Sun.,Oct. 10th. further

The trip will be broken into two parts with a four day, three night, base camp at my
favorite camp site on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and then proceeding for three day, two
night, stay at the very comfortable, centrally located Waterside Inn located in Historic
Chicoteekke, Maryland.
